Chan Kok Keong, Paul –
Founder & Managing Partner

With nearly 40 years of litigation experience, Paul is a seasoned advocate renowned for his appellate work in commercial and constitutional law. A member of the Bar of England and Wales (1982) and the Malaysian Bar (1984), he has represented clients in high-profile matters such as the Chin Peng case and the Perak Constitutional Crisis. He continues to be a leading figure in capital markets, shareholder disputes, and election petitions.

Yau Wai Leong –
Managing Partner, Kuala Lumpur Office

A barrister and litigator with over two decades of experience, Wai Leong focuses on civil, corporate, and banking disputes, and also advises on corporate transactions. His strong involvement in urban rejuvenation, non-profit education, and charitable missions reflects his commitment to both the law and the community.

Raja Badariah Raja Daud

An experienced conveyancing practitioner, Raja Badariah has overseen countless property transactions since joining the firm in 2004. She specialises in real estate, loans (including Islamic financing), and tenancy matters, and has been a partner since 2010.

Lim Fang Say, Robin

A litigation expert with a passion for administrative and family law, Robin is also experienced in contractual disputes, torts, and strata management. His work at the Strata Management Tribunal and teaching contributions reflect his commitment to public service and education.

James Huntzen Ong

James brings international experience from London to Malaysia’s courts, with deep expertise in shareholder disputes, professional negligence, trusts, and insolvency. A co-author and speaker on competition law, he also actively contributes to several business and legal committees.

Siti Hawa Hassan

As head of our Banking Litigation team, Siti Hawa is trusted by major financial institutions in handling debt recovery, foreclosure, and winding-up proceedings. Her experience also includes real estate, share sales, and probate.

Soong Li Yih, Ryan

Called to the Bar in 2018 (UK) and 2020 (Malaysia), Ryan handles a variety of legal matters ranging from litigation and employment law to conveyancing and corporate affairs. A passionate sportsman and young advocate, he brings energy and dedication to his practice.

Skanda Yagasena

A rising associate with a growing portfolio in civil litigation, land disputes, and family law, Skanda aspires to broaden his expertise into commercial fraud and criminal litigation. His sharp intellect and diligence make him a valuable part of the litigation team.
